Scared. Am I lying to you? I feel so fake, Underneath this extroverted mask, I'm an introvert just waiting to hide. It isn't really a coincidence, That 'scared' is one letter away from 'scarred', I'm nervous, All the pressure you're applying Crowds in on me, So I can't breathe, And I'm choking On my words Trying to tell you how I feel And make it Mean something, But it's like trying to capture light on water, Our light, Your's or mine, I can't tell anymore, And it's dying, ..Or is it just sleeping?
