Finally, it's all over. I can do whatever the hell I like now. And all I want to do is spend it all with you, darling, even though you're busy right now. The sky is a pale blue outside, the trees a deep green. It feels good just to be alive, like I had tiny weights attached to me, and they were dragging me down. In truth, I was drowning. But now I;ve shed the loads and I've broken the surface of the water and it feels phenomenal, that first breath of air. I'm so grateful. Oh, I;m so grateful. |
